Founders History
Every person has a vision and it’s a vision which enlightens the world. Maria Nursery & Primary School was born on 18th April 2004. A vision of our Founder, Mrs. Hilda Francis has turned into reality on this day, when Rev. Fr. V. Chinnappan inaugurated our school. Now the school is sixteen years old.
Correspondent
Our Correspondent, Mr. F.John was born on 4th February 1951 at Vellore. He did his schooling at St. Mary’s Higher Secondary School, Madurai and Post Graduation at Madura College, Madurai. On completion of Post Graduation, he joined Indian Overseas Bank in October 1974. He is a Retired Bank Manager.
Principal’s Welcome Note
Our Principal, Mrs. Lilia John, was born on 25th February, 1960 at Bangalore. She did her schooling at St. Francis Xavier’s Convent and college at St. Mount Carmel, Bangalore. She did her Montessori Course at IMTC (Indian Montessori Training Centre), Bangalore. She completed B.Ed., at Annamalai University & DECE (Diploma in Early Childhood Education) at Indira Gandhi University.
She had worked in esteemed schools like Jeevana School ICSE Madurai, Campian Anglo Indian Hr. Sec. School (Anglo Indian Board), Tiruchirapalli and Kamala Niketan CBSE School, Tiruchirapalli. She has a vast work experience of 35 years in teaching.
She has great love & passion towards children. She is good in handling kids & a good friend to parents. She has a good rapport among children and parents. She makes children love their school life and enjoy coming to school.
